Saskia worked at a jewelry store before she started sculpting. After following several diverse classes, she developed her own style and started making her unique sculptures since 1988. Besides sculpting, she also loves to photograph.

Nowadays Saskia creates her modern sculptures out of bronze or clay in various shapes and sizes.

She gets most of her inspiration from people, many times with a sense of humor or a quip. She often makes jewelry out of her smaller sculpts. Her larger objects are wall hanging or standing works of art.

Saskia presents and sells her work in the Netherlands and abroad at exhibitions, art events and multiple galleries.
