Kamilla Meesters is in 1974 geboren in Polen.

 Sinds haar 13e jaar was ze creatief bezig

 met alles wat er op haar weg kwam en voornamelijk met textiel.



Kleding vermaken op een eigenzinnige manier was de leukste bezigheid in haar jeugd.

In verband met financiële beperkingen kon ze de opleiding kleding design niet volgen. Zodoende ging ze bouwkunde studeren, aangezien dit te maken had met techniek,

 tekenen en ontwerpen, zodat ze hier een deel van haar creativiteit kwijt kon.

Na de diploma uitreiking is ze vertrokken naar Nederland. 



In 2007 is ze in aanraking gekomen met de poppen
en al snel begon alles te kriebelen om

 het te gaan proberen.

Ze heeft nooit geweten dat poppen maken zo fascinerend kon zijn.

Een hele andere wereld ging voor Kamilla open, een

 wereld vol fantasie, mogelijkheden en het heerlijke gevoel om te creëren.

 Ook haar passie voor kleding ontwerpen kwam van pas en ze krijgt steeds

 meer gevoel dat nu alle puzzel stukjes op hun plaats vallen.



Kamilla werkt met polymeer klei

dat is de medium waarmee ze de beste resultaten krijg.

Karakters en uitdrukkingen zijn voor haar het belangrijkste
bij het maken van haar creaties.

 Zij zijn niet bepaald zoet of lief, maar wel grijpend en vol gevoel...

Kamilla Meesters

Kamilla is born in 1974 in Poland.

Since 13 years of age she was creative with everything that came
on her way and mainly textiles.

Making clothing in a unique way was the best activity in her youth.

Due to financial constraints she could not follow the clothing design school
and so she studied engineering.

Technology, drawing and design feeded her creativity.



After her education she moved to the Netherlands.

In 2007 she came in contact with dolls and it soon began itching to try it out.

She never knew that making dolls could be so fascinating.
A whole different world was opened,
a world of fantasy and wonderful sense of creating opportunities.



Passion for the clothing design came in handy
and she keep getting more sense now that all the puzzle pieces
would fall into the right place.

Kamilla works with polymer clay,
this is the medium that gives the best results to the faces of her dolls.



Characters and phrases are for her the most important things
in the appearance of her creations.

They are not particularly sweet, but gripping and full of feelings...
